These terms describe use of the Print Prepper website and application at app.printprepper.com. Contact hello@printprepper.com with questions about your account, billing or these terms.
Your account and team
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. If you create an account or manage a subscription for a business, you must have authority to do so. Invite only people authorised to use that account and review their access when their responsibilities change.
Use Print Prepper lawfully. Do not interfere with its security, access another account without permission, upload malicious files or use the service to infringe someone else’s rights.
Your artwork and instructions
You retain any rights you hold in the files, artwork and instructions you provide. You must have the permissions needed for Print Prepper and its service providers to handle them, including permission to process personal information belonging to your customers or other people.
You give Print Prepper permission to copy, store, process and transmit that material only as needed to provide the service, produce your requested outputs, maintain your job history and support your account. This includes using external processing providers for the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. It is not a transfer of ownership of your artwork.
Do not upload material you are not authorised to share with the service and its providers. Avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for the job.
Check the output before printing
Print Prepper helps prepare artwork; it does not replace your review of the proof or your printer’s requirements. Check the text, dimensions, resolution, colour, bleed, crop marks and final proof before approving a print run. Keep your original files and your own copies of outputs you need.
AI suggestions, edits, upscaling and assistant answers can contain mistakes or generate details that were not in the original. A result may need further editing and may not be unique. Review it before relying on it or sharing it with a customer. These responsibilities do not remove any consumer guarantees or other rights you have under applicable law.
Plans, trials and recurring billing
The plan offered to you at signup or checkout sets out the price, currency, billing interval, included features, usage allowance and any trial or promotional terms. Different accounts may have different agreed allowances. A team subscription covers the account specified in the offer; staff logins do not each create another subscription.
AI allowances count submitted attempts, including failed attempts, under the account’s current metering rules. A monthly allowance follows the calendar month in the account’s timezone. Check your account for the allowance and usage that apply to you.
A free trial does not require a payment card at initial signup. Reaching the trial end does not itself authorise a payment. If you choose to activate a recurring subscription during a trial, checkout explains when billing begins; activation does not restart the existing trial.
Where a paid subscription is offered and you authorise it, it renews automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Stripe handles the payment details and billing controls. Review the total price and any tax information before confirming.
Billing screens labelled sandbox are tests. They do not collect real payments or establish that a live subscription has been paid.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime. An authorised account owner or admin can use the billing controls available for the account to stop future renewals. If those controls are unavailable, contact hello@printprepper.com for help.
Where cancellation is scheduled for the end of a billing period, the billing screen shows that end date. It does not mean an immediate termination of the period already paid for. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account or its files are separate actions; deleting local account information does not by itself cancel billing.
Cancelling a renewal does not by itself reverse a payment already made. This is different from your rights to a refund or another remedy when the service fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees or other legal requirements. Contact us with the account and transaction details so we can review a billing problem. Do not send full card details.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a remedy such as having a service problem fixed, a refund, cancellation or compensation. You can read the ACCC’s information about consumer guarantees.
Liability cap
This section does not limit our liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, for a failure to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. It does not reduce any right or remedy that applicable law prevents us from excluding, restricting or modifying.
Subject to those exceptions and only to the extent permitted by applicable law, Print Prepper’s total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these terms or the service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise, is limited to the total fees paid to Print Prepper by you or on your behalf for the affected account during the 12 months immediately preceding the first event giving rise to the claim or series of related claims.
This is one combined limit for all claims arising from that event or series of related events, not a separate limit for each claim.
If no fees were paid for the affected account in that 12-month period, this cap does not apply.
Availability and changes
Maintenance, faults and dependencies on external services can interrupt availability. Restrictions needed to address security incidents, unlawful use or misuse should be proportionate to the issue. Any action affecting an account remains subject to applicable law and consumer rights.
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page with its effective date. Updates apply prospectively; they do not alter rights or obligations that arose before that date. Changes to an existing agreement, including a paid subscription’s price or agreed terms, take effect only where permitted by that agreement and applicable law, with notice or agreement where legally required. Merely publishing an update does not authorise a new charge or remove existing rights.
Questions and complaints
Email hello@printprepper.com with a description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We may need information to identify the account and investigate. You can also seek advice from a relevant consumer protection body; contacting us does not limit that option.
